All fees must be paid a
2 Days ahead of class start date. There will be no refunds or make up dates. Please call or email for
additional information on private lessons. All participants must bring their own equipment. Call in
advance if you do not have a skateboard. We have limited supply and they are available on a first come,
first serve basis.

Who: Portsmouth youth 6 -17 years old and up who are interested in learning the fundamentals of skateboarding safely.
What: Hard Heads Spring Break Beginner Skateboarding Camp will be an experience you won’t forget.
Through practice, various drills, and exercises, our instructors will help beginner skaters become more
comfortable with skateboard safety, park etiquette, and basic techniques, such as turning, stopping, and
pushing. Class capacity is limited to 10 skaters due to recent space and safety regulations and it also
allows us to give each participant personal instruction.
Why: Kids see skaters and say, “Hey I want to do that.” But neither them or their parents know where to look for help. Our goal is to ensure that all skaters learn how to shred in a manner that is safe, space appropriate, and allows them to discover their capabilities, while having a great time.
When: Skaters will be grouped by ages 6 -12 and 13-17. Instructional sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the week of April 10 -14, 2023. Skaters will come at their designated time according to their age group. or 4 consecutive weeks.

Due to rigorous safety standards and instructional content, skaters will not be allowed to skate with low cost boards and pads typically found at toy stores or other large general merchandise retailers. Many skaters come with skateboards that are unsafe and prevents them from learning how to turn properly.
All homeschoolers enrolled in Skateboard Classes will receive 10% off all hardgoods (Skateboard Equipment) when purchased from Hard Times Skate Shop. All recommended equipment can be purchased at Hard Times Skate Shop or the Local Skate Shop of your choice.
