Whew!! Time sure does fly when you’re having fun is an understatement. 2024 will be the 4th consecutive year that Hard Times Skate Shop, Portsmouth’s Park and Recreation Department and sponsors host Hard Times Go Skate Daze. The last 3 Years were nothing short of spectacular and 2024 won’t be any different. Hard Times GO Skate Daze Is a free 2 Day event that celebrates Juneteenth Day, skateboarding,community, and family fun. The Festivities will take place on June 19 & 21 at Cradock Skate Park, located at 4117 George Washington Highway.
Hard Times Go Skate Daze events wouldn’t be possible without the assistance of our Partners and Sponsors. Last year’s Go Skate Daze partner was Portsmouth Parks and Recreation. Some of our previous year’s sponsors have included the YMCA, Top Golf, Big Homies Foundation, Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth Public Library, Grizzly Griptape, Dead Broke Skateboards, Electromagnetic Tattoo and Portsmouth Armie Navie Store, just to name a few. We have also received prizes and donations from Thrasher, DLX Distribution, Happy Hour Shades, Violet Skateboards, Tum Yeto, Skate One, Welcome Skateboards and friends of Hard Times Skate Shop.
